Good one!
First of all, whoever name...Peter Apps,

Good one!

First of all, whoever named the parasitical protozoan Toxoplasma is a film marketing genius.

As for a brain parasite that changes a rat’s fear of cat urine odor into attraction, thereby getting the parasite into the cat’s digestive tract for the next state of its life cycle, well that’s so warped that only evolution could come up with it.

I think the key plot element is that a third of female cat owners are also infected by Toxoplasma. All we need is a mutant version of the protozoan that causes nubile women to be attracted to the otherwise gross odor of zombies. It's Humanoids from the Deep in reverse.

Avery Gilberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18104017679971839738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8125354955146250762.post-83887448914993119152013-08-12T04:19:27.791-07:002013-08-12T04:19:27.791-07:00A human version of this would have all kinds of pl...A human version of this would have all kinds of plot possibilities -

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2028805/Zombie-rats-Parasite-leads-rodents-death-making-sexually-attracted-smell-cats.htmlPeter Appshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14285946080733212637noreply@blogger.com
