what I fail to understand is how or why this is even news ?? Am I the only one to think that printing something like this is utterly daft? I'm all for freedom of the press but its a fine line between that and stupidity.
"FBI field office, private security company, and Rail Transit Authority tests have determined that odor mitigating devices have the potential to completely mask explosives odors from canine detection.” Really ??
How is that not helping the camel jockeys wage their jihad against the great satan?
I wouldn't put it up there with the New York Times article revealing the secret Swift banking program that tracked terrorist finances, but there's a family resemblance.
BTW camel jockeys is no way to refer to the well-educated sons of (mostly) Saudi privilege who committed the atrocities of 9/11, or the many like them who have waged jihad on the West since.
I'm a sensory psychologist. My specialty is olfaction --the strange and wonderful world of smell. I've worked in academia and the corporate world, published my research in scientific journals, and written a book on the science of smell.
